Description
Our Duplex Wet-Pit Waste Conveyance Pump System is engineered for dependable wastewater transfer from vacuum discharge tanks to sanitary sewers or bulk holding tanks using a submersible pump configuration optimized for long-term reliability. Developed as an evolution of traditional waste conveyance systems, this design leverages pumps operating in their intended submerged environment for improved performance and durability.
The system utilizes two high-head submersible grinder pumps installed in a wet-pit configuration, allowing the pumps to operate fully submerged while efficiently handling wastewater containing solids. Duplex operation provides redundancy and alternating duty cycles to balance runtime and ensure continuous operation during peak demand or service intervals.
Designed for industrial and commercial wastewater applications, the system delivers flow rates up to 184 GPM with discharge pressures up to 47 PSIG, matching the performance of dry-pit systems while offering simplified mechanical layout and reduced maintenance requirements.
